About Lys Olson

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I can remember going on family vacations with disposable Kodak Funsaver cameras that my Dad would give me, I would end up taking landscape and nature images instead of photos of the family I was visiting. It wasn’t until High School that the realization that photography was what I truly loved in the arts. I took photography throughout college and graduate school, it became part of who I am. Photography is one reason I have traveled to so many exotic places in our world, gone on a variety of adventures in my own state, and continued my passion for learning. It’s the endless amount of learning and experimenting that has guided my passion for the different genres of photography. I love to share how I see the world through my camera with those that are tagging along on my adventures!
